
How positive thoughts improve my life :
- Mind – This morning I woke up feeling blessed thankful and grateful. Lately I have been doing things that are godly. I do my best. I ask God for direction and guidance to help me live a life that He wanted me to live. My mind is filled with good thoughts. I decided to share these thought with you.
- a. I found out my thoughts come from things I’ve been doing like reading, writing, people I hang out with and talk to, what I watch on social media and television.
- b. Hanging out with positive friends and family lift me up. I improve my thinking. I feel relax, loved, wanted. and supported. As a result, my mind can make better choices and decision. I am able to say no, when it is necessary. It increase my confidence. With God’s help, I am able to do things that are align with God’s will.
- c. I am not ditching my negative friends and family. I am spending less time with them though. Praying that they will see the light. Prayers works, in God’s timing.
- Body – Positive thoughts improved my health. I have to keep in mind that I am 72 years old. I know I don’t feel 72, but I am. I have to choose activities that are more appropriate for people my age. So far it is very helpful. It helps me cope better with stressful situation, which reduces the harmful health effect of stress on my body
- a. I go to the gym to attend at least 1 class in most days. Before I know it I have done at least 45 minutes of exercise.
- b Exercise definitely affect my positive mood and reduce my stress.
- Spirit – Being optimistic has help me in many areas of my life. I know God is working on my behalf.
- a. When the door closes on me, I know God is protecting me from doing ungodly things or stopping me from eating poison they are about to serve me.
- b. I try to find humor in everything , especially in my difficult situations. When I go through difficult times, I make myself smile. I fake it till I make it. I love that saying.
- c. I do my best to focus on 5 things (1) God (2) health (3) family, friends, pet
- (4) create (5) serve (It is hard to keep this 5 balance)
I ‘ve been told that I have a positive attitude. I thought I did too. But there is much more to learn. I get excited everyday looking forward to what I am going to enjoy or learn. If you are one of those who have a negative outlook, don’t expect to change overnight. It takes time to practice. It is worth working towards positive attitude. It will bring joy, peace, hope, love and blessings to you, your friends and family. That alone is worth the time and effort to cultivate a positive attitude.
