At the book club this week at Barnes and Noble, we ran across the word “floozie,” and I asked, “What’s floozie?” I found out a floozie (floozy) is a young woman who has many casual sexual partners or who dresses or behaves in sexually provocative manner. I learned something new every day. When my husband was still in the service, we went out partying with his friends, and everybody would be laughing so hard, and I don’t know what they are laughing about. So I just laugh with them because I don’t want to look naive. I can’t wait to get to our car so I can ask my husband, “What is so funny?” Nothing changed. I am still learning.
I am Cora Parker, celebrating my 75th birthday on Deecmber 7, 2025, I am busy writing, reading, laughing, and testing life’s honey.
