“I’ve lived, I’ve learned…and I’ve got the emotional bruises and expired warranties
“I’ve learned so much from my mistakes… I’m thinking of making a few more. “

This episode is all about the lessons we didn’t ask for, the mistakes we definitely made twice, and the wisdom we gained eventually. If you have ever tripped over the same life lesson more than once, you are in a good company. We lived it, we learned it –kinda.Let’s laugh about it. This is the journey through life lessons-the hilarious, the humbling, and the holy. From missteps to miracles, this episode unpacks the wisdom earned through real-life experiences and not textbook theories. Whether you laughed through it, cried tthrough it, or or prayed your way out of it – If you lived it you learned it.
Welcome to Lived and Learn-The episode where the scars are real, gthe lessons came late, and the laughs are fylly earned. I am Cora Parker your fellow mistake-maker and lesson-repeater, here to prove tat just because we didn’t get it right the first tie (or the fifth) time.. doesn’t mean we didn’t learn something! Buckle up– It’s wisdom with a side of Ooops! This is where we turn our most awkward , embarrassing and What was I thinking, moments into a stories worth laughing about… and learning from. Last week, I dyed my hair, and what an experience it was. I didn’t read the direction because I have been dying my hair for a long time. OMG! When I was rinsing my hair to apply the hair mask I was curious why the water didn’t turned black. I went ahead grab the hair mask and pour it into my hair. Guess what, it was the hair dye and not the hair mask. I panicked. The walls where I spashed some hair dye, my face and my shoulder turned black. So there I was confidence in my soul, and not a single clue in my brain. I looked like I was ready to celebrate Halooween. I sprayed shoutout on my face , shoulder and the walls. I used magic eraser to clean up including my face and shoulder. I scrapped both side of my face and shoulder that turned red and looked sore. Lesson Learned!
Experience is my best teacher. As time goes by, I enjoy all the experiences I have gotten through in life. Fun times are much more like a blessing, and bad experiences are lessons to learn. They are both helpful in my journey. I am thankful and grateful every morning when I opened my eyes. It’s another chance to be a blessing and enjoy life. Experiences lead to a meaningful, fulfilled life. As we get older, we become stronger and better to make good decisions and choices. Ir brings wisdom and more understanding of people and circumstances. Research suggests that older adults take more time to consider options. Aging accumulates valuable life experiences that lead to meaningful, fulfilled lives.
That’s it for for today’s wpisode of Lived and Learned.- remember life might not come with instruction , but sure gives pop quizzes! Laugh at the lesson, love thejourney and maybe ..just maybe… don’t dye your own hair or at least read the direction before dyeing your hair.
