“Gracious words are like honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.”
Proverbs 16:24 (ESV)

They are sweeter than honey   than honey from the comb
Psalm 19:10 (NIV)

There  are places  in life where love  is like  a couch potato ‘ it just shows up  get comfy, and refuses to leave.  It oozes in all  slow and  sticky like honey.  filling  in the cracks I didn’t even know were there, in that space I wasn’t trying to to  impress anyone or  prove my worth. I was chillin’ being my awesome self,  feeling seen,  safe  and  loved without having to do a single thing to earn it.  That kind of love  is like a breath of fresh air – it  changes the way I breathe,  the way I rest,  the way I believe I belong

Looking back,  I realize  love wasn’t all loud and showy- it was just  consistent. It  stuck around made the  tough edays a little sweeter, and smoothed out of the tough edges of my heart.  Where love poured like honey, I learned that being tender can be  super power,  that  grace  can feel  like  a warm hug, and that some of the best  things in life  arrive  quietly and  stick  around forever.
