The Day I Started Writing

FAITH:  GAVE ME THE POWER TO WRITE

FAITH – Hebrew 11:1

” The assurance  of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”

My desire to write started when my youngest brother suffered from diabetes in 2021 and died later. This brought our family together in sadness and despair. My mom and my two younger siblings also died from diabetes. My thoughts of helping  and influencing the rest of the family to start a healthy living were disappointing.  Nobody is interested, and they acted like it is non-of my  business how they live their life. The thoughts never leave my mind. It was always in my mind. I stopped chasing writing and went  back to my regular routine.

Life started to become boring, doing the same thing and different days. My attitude changed, though. I have faith that with God’s help,  my dream to help myself, my family members, and others to start a healthy living is necessary  for me  and others  also to have a happy, healthy atmosphere. Around summertime, I started reaching out to family members and friends again to give a  healthy living another chance,  once again . This time was a winner. Everyone was very supportive and happy about it. I made  friends, talking to strangers and anybody who would listen to me about health and wellness. I started making trips to the library and became very interested in writing.  With the help of  my friends at the library and going to the seminar with ” A Writer’s   Utopia,” and with the help of my friends and family who are also my editors, my niece, Carol Noon and my granddaughter. Sarah Parker, I became confident and started writing. It wasn’t really writing that I was interested in. What inspired me to write  is the desire to promote wellness, a healthy lifestyle, a healthy diet, and living a life with a positive attitude. Writing was the tool I used to share what I  just learned. It was little that I knew. writing  is exciting.  I hurried up  to finish my chores so I could go back to writing. I am so excited. Since I have been writing, I have more energy and feel inspired all the time.  I believe positive thinking has a lot to do with my change of attitude and helping me to  create  something new  all the time. Life is fun again.  Learning something new is really exciting. Learning about health makes it easier to take care of myself.   Going through the process, health strengthens my faith that I already have, which  had  gotten stale because of circumstances.  Through searching and praying , I  found  myself again. I want to serve and help  as much as I can to make the difference.  I pray and  hope that we can stop degenerating  our health. My dream to see more people in their old age creating and enjoying life to the fullest  become stronger, as time goes by. God created us to create, love, and take care of ourselves and each other. We have to start taking care of our health as early as  possible. Taking care of our health as early as our teenage years, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and so on. It is necessary to stay healthy until we are on our 90s and beyond.  I am 72, and I feel great.  I am learning and doing something interesting  as much as I can. Eating  natural foods is a lot healthier than processed food. Manufacturer add  chemicals to our food to make them last longer and taste better.  This process is destroying our health slowly.  I learned this through  my research, reading, and watching informative and educational  shows. It was an inspiring time, writing the  book, “Young Living,” Escaping Diabetes Through Healthy Living. God sent me a lot of help through people,  reading and research.  This book is available at Amazom.com and Barnes and Noble. It is in stock at Yuma Az Barnes and Noble.
