My dog Buddy makes me laugh so hard. It makes me happy and healthy.
Cora Parker

My life has changed since Buddy came to my life. He lights up my life. He wakes me up in the morning, and we stay outside for a while. He digs holes while I meditate/pray. It is nice to start my mornings with Buddy. I wait for my sister Rebecca to call me for our prayer meeting in the mornings. Then, I fix breakfast and eat outside sometimes. Buddy makes me feel energetic, creative, and loved. The warm and fuzzy feeling when I cuddle him is very exciting. He is so playful. It gives me the energy to exercise or enjoy doing my chores. When I am doing fun things for myself, like going to the gym, library, and the book clubs, I can’t wait to get home because I miss him so much. Perhaps his unconditional love adds real joy to my life. It is true that people with dogs often experience greater health benefits than those without pets. When I am happy, I am healthy. Health is wealth.
